The speed of modular construction depends on coordination. Raven connects the factory, transportation, crane operation and site installation through a practical process built around early planning, clear scope and disciplined field execution.
1. Project Review
We begin by reviewing the available drawings, specifications, module information, site plan, schedule and proposed scope. The goal is to understand the building, identify missing information and establish the assumptions that will drive pricing and planning.
2. Scope & Responsibility Alignment
Modular projects involve overlapping responsibilities between the manufacturer, transporter, crane provider, GC and installation contractor. Raven works to define who supplies, performs and coordinates each component before mobilization.
3. Crane, Access & Logistics Planning
We review crane locations, module weights and dimensions, access routes, delivery order, laydown options, shuttle requirements and equipment needs. The resulting plan must connect the module sequence at the factory with the order required at the hook.
4. Mobilization & Site Readiness
Before setting begins, Raven confirms that access, foundations or supports, crane areas, module staging, safety controls, equipment and installation materials are ready for the planned operation.
5. Module Setting
Our crews receive, guide, place, align and secure each module while coordinating continuously with the crane and transport teams. Progress is managed against safe conditions, actual delivery flow and the installation plan.
6. Dry-In & Complexing
As the building rises, the team protects exposed joints and completes structural, envelope and architectural connections in the correct sequence. Priority is placed on securing the building and limiting exposure to weather.
7. Quality, Deficiencies & Closeout
Raven documents progress, coordinates inspections within its scope and addresses identified deficiencies. The project is turned over with completed work organized for the next trades and final closeout.
Bring Raven in Early
Early involvement allows installation constraints to be identified while the crane plan, transportation sequence and module details can still be adjusted.
